La Zenia beach just 1km from our house- two coves, restaurant/cafe that overlooks the beach/sea. Very popular beach.
Playa Flamenca Saturday Market

Situated in Calle Nicolas Bussi, only 5 min to walk. This market is held every Saturday morning throughout the year. Its in one very long flat road, so makes it easy to shop - so guys be warned!! Items include; clothes, shoes, rugs, ceramics, bedding, towels, gifts, fruit and veg, cosmetics, toiletries etc etc. A great market.
Playa Flamenca Commercial Centre

The Playa Flamenca Commercial centre is a large complex with bars, restaurants and shops. It situated 700m from our house. Enjoy the Blues Brothers? Then don't miss going to the Temple Bar where they perform 3-5 times per week. You have English, Chinese, Indian, Thai, Hungarian, Italian restaurants and an English supermarket and greetings card shop.

Enjoy speed? Then don't miss out on going to the Go-kart track, about 1km from our house. Great fun for the kids and kids at heart. Karts for the whole family; juniors, adults and the Hondas for those of you that want even more speed.

Situated in Orihuela Costa, just 5 mins drive from our house (Playa Flamenca).
Campoamor Golf

La Finca Golf Course (Algorfa)

Situated approx 15-20 minutes drive from our house (Playa Flamenca). Lovely drive along roads lined with orange and lemon groves. The course is situated at the foot of Mount Escotera and opened in 2002. Par 72. 6,394 metres, 19 holes. Has a driving range, putting greens, chipping area, practice bunker.
Villamartin Plaza

Located at Villamartin approx 3km from our house. Variety of bars and restaurants. Very close to the golf course. Great atmosphere in the summer months - well worth a visit.
Las Habaneras Shopping Centre

Situated in Torrevieja, approx 10 mins drive from our house (Playa Flamenca). Shops situated on 3 floors - lift and escalators. 2 underground floors of parking. Shops include; H&M, C&A, Bijou Bridgette (jewellery), designer sunglasses, perfumery shops, English bookshop, Mobile phone shops, Zara, sports shops, DIY, home furnishings, designer clothes shops, Masters electrical, jewellery shops, Spanish clothes shops, shoe shops.
Ten Pin Bowling

Large ten pin bowling alley situated in the Ozone Complex - next to Las Habaneras shopping centre. Also in the complex you have a Casino, eating places and a Spanish cinema.
Nations Park, Torrevieja

Located off of the N332 in Torrevieja. Lovely gardens, trees, water features and children's play area. Excellent area for sitting and relaxing.

Great atmosphere in Torrevieja during the Summer evenings. Market traders are selling their wares every evening. Enjoy sitting out with a drink a meal, or an ice-cream.

Situated next to the Port car park. Open during the summer season. Great for the kids and kids at heart.
Torrevieja - Harbour Delfin S61 Submarine

The “Delfin S61” – is situated in Torrevieja harbour. Built in 1973 and retired from active service 10 December 2003. It was donated to Torrevieja town council by the Minstry of Defence in February 2004. Take a tour of the boat, and sample what life would be like onboard.

Nice restaurants located by and opposite the harbour. Try Brisas del Mar - excellent restaurant. Fishing trips and trips to the islands of Tabarca on a glass bottom boat from the harbour.
Immaculada Concepcion Church

Located on Ramon Gallud (one of the main streets through Torrevieja town). Nativity scene in the plaza in front of the church during the festive season. Easter week evening celebrations start and finish at the church.
Playa Punta Prima

This popular beach has a wooden hut during the summer months selling snacks and drinks. There is a fantastic Spanish restaurants - Punta Prima Restaurante that looks over the sea.
Cala Ferris

The palm fringed beach of Cala Ferris is located near the Nautilus restaurant, at Punta Prima.
Playa Glea - Campoamor

Really nice beach - a large cove. Restaurant, beach hut in summer selling food and drinks. Want a massage? Several masseuse willing to give you a massage whilst you sunbathe - very relaxing! Marina situated next to beach.

Lovely beach, very popular with the Spanish. Toilet cubicles in the summer! Bars and restaurants along the front.
Lo Pagan Beach - Costa Calida

Lo Pagan is very popular for the mud flats - so if you fancy covering yourself from head to foot in mud then this is the place to come.

Guardamar Beach

Guardamar beach, located 15 mins drive from the Playa Flamenca. Very popular and busy beach in the summer. Volleyball nets. Restaurants and bars along the promenade. The town of Guardamar is in walking distance from the beach.
Campomar Beach/Guardamar

Just 15 mins drive from the Playa Flamenca. Park at the Campomar Hotel. Childrens play area. Very long sandy beach. You can walk to Guardamar beach which is lovely along the seashore.

Located in Torrevieja town, lots of bars, restaurants.
Terra Mitica Theme Park, Near Benidorm

Terra Mitica Theme Park, just 1 hour 15 mins drive from the our house (Playa Flamenca). Opens everyday at 10.00 til 10.00pm in the summer (see their website for off peak opening). Lots of water rides, roller coasters, dodgems, eating establishments. Good day out.

Algar Falls

Located near Altea, about 1 hour 30 mins drive from the Playa Flamenca you will find the Algar Falls, which are beautiful natural waterfalls.

The Fonts D'Algar (Algar Falls) has a restaurant, barbecue and picnic facilities. There is an environmental museum and a horticultural nursery, where a duct system uses the natural springs waters to irrigate the plants and trees.

Terra Natura, Benidorm
Terra Natura wildlife park situated in Bendiorm is approx 75 mins drive from the Playa Flamenca.
Areas divided into Pangea, Europe, America and Asia. There is also a marine centre and waterpark.
Animals include; elephants, camels, monkeys, jaguars, tigers, lions, aviary of birds, horses, spiders, bee hive, insects, rhinos, fish, sharks and a lot more.
Good day out if you enjoy wildlife (have now been twice).
